Erik Voorhees is among the top-recognized serial Bitcoin entrepreneurs, understanding Bitcoin as one of the most important inventions ever created by humanity. Co-founder of Panama-based Coinapult and formerly Head of Marketing for BitInstant (also Founder of the notorious SatoshiDICE prior to its sale in July '13), Erik has been at the center of the Bitcoin movement since April 2011. Erik has been a featured guest on Bloomberg, Fox Business, CNBC, BBC Radio, NPR, The Peter Schiff Show, and numerous Bitcoin and payments conferences, discussing the economic and social implications of the rapidly evolving Bitcoin movement. Erik left the US to move to Panama at the beginning of 2013, believing Bitcoin will revolutionize the developing world before the West starts taking it seriously. Erik is well-known for his vocal advocacy of the "separation of Money and State," humbly suggesting that there is no such thing as a "free market" when the institution of money itself is centrally planned and controlled.
