Popular Uniswap Frontend Blocks 253 Crypto Addresses Related to DeFi Crimes; Tornado Cash Arrest Protest

Decentralized exchange (DEX) Uniswap has blocked 253 crypto addresses that were apparently linked to sanctioned privacy tool Tornado Cash or to stolen funds, according to GitHub data cited by Yearn Finance developer “Banteg.”

Seward originally hails from San Francisco and went to college at the University of Chicago. Jennifer Sanasie sits at the intersection of crypto and culture. Will Foxley is multimedia director at Compass Mining and a former tech reporter for CoinDesk. He previously worked for Messari and the American Spectator. He holds investments in bitcoin.
